Use it with caution, though, so you don\u2019t kill <b>et romantisk \u00f8yeblikk <\/b>(a romantic moment) with too many words. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Even when <b>sola<\/b> (the sun) is up and busy, you can sometimes see <b>m\u00e5nen<\/b> (the moon) above the Norwegian <b>fjell<\/b> (mountains). Of course, your chances are better after <b>solnedgang<\/b> (sunset) \u2013 and before <b>soloppgang<\/b> (sunrise) \u2013 when there are not too many <b>skyer<\/b> (clouds).<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Most often the <b>m\u00e5ne<\/b> is <b>halv<\/b> [hahll] (half), but sometimes you get the honour of staring into the face of <b>fullm\u00e5nen<\/b> (the full moon). (Can you see <b>m\u00e5nemannen<\/b> \u2013 the man in the moon?)<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Across <b>den m\u00f8rke himmelen<\/b> (the dark sky), you\u2019ll probably be able to see the famous pale ribbon that gave its name to a chocolate bar: the Milky Way, which is <b>Melkeveien<\/b> in Norwegian. And everywhere there are <b>skinnende stjerner<\/b> (shining stars). Wait, was that a <b>stjerneskudd<\/b> (shooting star)? <b>Fort, \u00f8nsk deg noe!<\/b> (Quick, make a wish!)<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Do you know any <b>stjernebilder<\/b> (constellations \u2013 literally \u201dstar images\u201d)? <b>Norge<\/b> (Norway) is a Northern country, so even Norwegians who are not a lot into stars usually know <b>Karlsvognen<\/b>\u00a0or <strong>Karlsvogna\u00a0<\/strong>(the Big Dipper). Yes, of course, it\u2019s those 7 stars that look like a nice saucepan. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">I always thought <b>Karlsvognen<\/b> meant \u201dKarl\u2019s wagon\u201d. Recently, though, I discovered that it actually means \u201dthe man\u2019s wagon\u201d \u2013 and it was called so by <b>vikingene<\/b> (the Vikings)! If you draw a line upwards from the outer edge of the \u201dsaucepan\u201d, you\u2019ll soon hit the big, bright <b>Nordstjernen <\/b>(The Northern Star).
