To get the full cultural experience, however, you have to use <b>alle de fem sansene dine<\/b> (all of your five senses)\u2026<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>H\u00f8resans<\/b> (sense of hearing) or <b>h\u00f8rsel<\/b>. <b>H\u00f8rer du hva jeg sier? <\/b>(Do you hear what I\u2019m saying?) Unless you\u2019re <b>d\u00f8v<\/b> (deaf) or <b>tungh\u00f8rt<\/b> (\u201dheavily-heard\u201d \u2013 having a bad sense of hearing), my best guess would be that your <b>\u00f8rer <\/b>are perfectly fine. You can continue reading without <b>h\u00f8reapparat<\/b> (hearing aid). \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Synssans<\/b> (sense of <b>syn<\/b> \u2013 sight). People who aren\u2019t <b>blind<\/b> [blinn] use <b>\u00f8ynene<\/b> to <b>se<\/b> [seh] (see). Some need the help of <b>briller<\/b> (glasses) or <b>kontaktlinser<\/b> (contact lenses). One of the worst things about <b>\u00e5 v\u00e6re forkj\u00f8lt<\/b> (having a cold) is the <b>nedsatt luktesans<\/b> (reduced sense of smell) you get. <b>Nesen liker \u00e5 lukte alle luktene og duftene i verden. <\/b>(The nose likes to smell all the smells and scents in the world \u2013 well, most of them! \ud83d\ude42<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>)<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Smakssans<\/b> (sense of taste). <b>Tunge\/n<\/b> (the tongue) isn\u2019t only useful when having fun with tongue twisters, but also in alien encounters with nice Norwegian <b>mat<\/b> (food). <b>Smaker m\u00e5ltidet s\u00f8tt, surt, salt, bittert \u2013 eller som kylling? <\/b>(Does the meal taste sweet, sour, salty, bitter \u2013 or like chicken?)<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>F\u00f8lesans<\/b> (sense of touch). The moment <b>den f\u00f8rste sn\u00f8en faller<\/b> (the first snow is falling) you know how lucky you are to be able to <b>kjenne<\/b> (feel, sense) <b>sn\u00f8fnuggene<\/b> (the snow flakes) as they melt against your face.
