{"id":979,"date":"2011-05-04T04:25:54","date_gmt":"2011-05-04T04:25:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/norwegian\/?p=979"},"modified":"2014-08-22T14:50:49","modified_gmt":"2014-08-22T14:50:49","slug":"berry-picking-in-norway","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/norwegian\/berry-picking-in-norway\/","title":{"rendered":"Berry Picking in Norway"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As I was eating a handful of <strong>bringeb\u00e6r<\/strong> (raspberries) this morning with my<strong> frokost<\/strong>, I reminisced about delicious Norwegian <strong>b\u00e6r. <\/strong>To this day I have yet eat better <strong>b\u00e6r<\/strong> than those I have eaten in Norway. \u00a0Whether you buy them in the <strong>matbutikk<\/strong> or <strong>plukke dem selv<\/strong> (pick them yourself), they are absolutely superb. \u00a0You can buy or find and pick<strong> jordb\u00e6r <\/strong>(strawberries), <strong>bl\u00e5b\u00e6r <\/strong>(blueberries), <strong>bringeb\u00e6r<\/strong>, lingonberries, and\u00a0<strong>multeb\u00e6r <\/strong>(cloudberries), to name the most popular. \u00a0The other great thing is that they are not super expensive! \u00a0But most importantly, they are full of <strong>smak<\/strong> (taste-flavor)! \u00a0Because fruit matures more slowly in cold climates, the volume of berries is fairly low, but the flavor is very intense.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>B\u00e6r<\/strong> are full of vitamins, calcium, magnesium, foliate, potassium and even photochemical as well as flavonoids that may help to prevent some forms of cancer and prevent bladder infections.
