World’s deepest swimming pool to be a new attraction in Poland Posted by on Jun 30, 2019 in Culture, Current News, Places to visit

Get ready to dive into the world’s deepest swimming pool later this fall! If you haven’t heard about it yet – this new attraction is planned to open in Poland this fall!

Deepspot is a project of the Flyspot brand, a company responsible for very popular FlySpot indoor skydiving tunnels.

Based in Mszczonów, about 50 kilometers outside of Warsaw, pool will reach 45 metres deep. The pool will hold 8,000 cubic metres of water — or the equivalent of 27 25-metre swimming pools. Open to amateurs and professionals alike, the pool will also be used as a scuba site, with landing platforms at various depths. A transparent underwater viewing tunnel is also part of the final design, if you are not a fan of diving, but would like to watch it. There will be hotel rooms with the pool view, conference rooms and restaurants near by.

Sounds like such a fun place, of course for everyone who loves water! The water in this pool is going to be warmer than in traditional pools, so that divers will not have to wear wet suits. There are variety of depths, so swimmers/divers will be able to train for a variety of conditions. Students will be able to learn to dive with instructors and complete comprehensive diving training, while freedivers can experiment in the unique conditions.

About the Author: Kasia

My name is Kasia Scontsas. I grew near Lublin, Poland and moved to Warsaw to study International Business. I have passion for languages: any languages! Currently I live in New Hampshire. I enjoy skiing, kayaking, biking and paddle boarding. My husband speaks a little Polish, but our daughters are fluent in it! I wanted to make sure that they can communicate with their Polish relatives in our native language. Teaching them Polish since they were born was the best thing I could have given them! I have been writing about learning Polish language and culture for Transparent Language’s Polish Blog since 2010.

    Hi Kasia,

Superb read. I hit your blog a couple of days ago from Google searches and loved your writing style. The posts were old and it so good to know that you have been so consistent from 2010 uptill now.

I am from Pakistan and want to move to Poland for study purposes and therefore I want a handful of advice and tips. Is there anyway that I could contact you in person? I will be really helpful to you for that.
