I remember different Polish songs and games when I was little&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Here is one play which I remember I recommended to my friends asking me about Polish plays for children and for other people and they found it wonderful to use. It is also related to winter and Christmas season because it has to do with a bear who is deeply asleep, like usually bears are in winter. But of course you can play it any time&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The Old Bear (<strong>Stary nied\u017awied\u017a<\/strong>)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Children chose one person as a bear. The bear is sitting in the middle of the circle pretending that he is asleep and it is snoring loudly, while other children are walking in a circle and sing:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Old bear is sleeping deeply,<br \/>\n<strong><em>Stary nied\u017awied\u017a\u00a0mocno <\/em>\u015b<em>pi<\/em>,<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Old bear is sleeping deeply,<br \/>\n<strong><em>Stary\u00a0nied\u017awied\u017a\u00a0mocno <\/em>\u015b<em>pi<\/em><\/strong>,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">We are walking on our tiptoes because we&#8217;re afraid of him,<br \/>\n<strong><em>Na palcach chodzimy, bo si<\/em>\u0119\u00a0<em>go boimy<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">When he&#8217;d wake up he would eat us!<br \/>\n<strong><em>Jak si<\/em>\u0119\u00a0<em>zbudzi to nas zje<\/em>,<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">When he&#8217;d wake up he would eat us.<br \/>\n<strong><em>Jak si<\/em>\u0119\u00a0<em>zbudzi to nas zje<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Then, children stand round thogether and recite:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The first hour (passed) &#8211; the bear sleeps<br \/>\n<strong><em>Pierwsza godzina &#8211; <em>nied\u017awied\u017a <\/em>\u015b<em>pi<\/em><\/em>,<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The second hour (passed)- the bear snores<br \/>\n<strong><em>Druga godzina &#8211; <em><em>nied\u017awied<em><em>\u017a<\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em> chrapie<\/em>,<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The third hour &#8211; the bear wakes up and he&#8217;s catching us!!!<br \/>\n<strong><em>Trzecia godzina &#8211; <em><em><em>nied\u017awied<em><em>\u017a<\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em> budzi si<\/em>\u0119\u00a0<em>i <\/em>\u0142<em>apie!!!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Then the person in the middle pretending to be a bear stands up and tries to catch somebody while children break a circle and run away trying to escape.
