{"id":2128,"date":"2011-08-09T17:23:36","date_gmt":"2011-08-09T17:23:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/polish\/?p=2128"},"modified":"2011-08-09T17:23:36","modified_gmt":"2011-08-09T17:23:36","slug":"warm-beets-recipe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/polish\/warm-beets-recipe\/","title":{"rendered":"Warm beets recipe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hello:)<\/p>\n<p>When I posted a &#8220;Kotlety mielone&#8221; recipe in one of my recent blogs, you asked for the recipe for the beets that were on the picture&#8230;<br \/>\nSo here it is:<\/p>\n<p>5\u00a0medium\u00a0cooked beets, peeled and shredded<\/p>\n<p>3 tablespoons horseradish, to taste<\/p>\n<p>2 tablespoons butter<\/p>\n<p>1 tablespoon flour<\/p>\n<p>2 spoons of sour cream<\/p>\n<p>pinch of salt, pepper and sugar<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/polish\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2011\/08\/buraczki_na_cieplo_3.jpg\" aria-label=\"Buraczki Na Cieplo 3\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-2129\"  alt=\"\" width=\"120\" height=\"80\" \/ src=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/polish\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2011\/08\/buraczki_na_cieplo_3.jpg\"><\/a>Cook the beets first for about 10 minutes on low heat, until they get soft. Make sure to cook them before you peel them (just cut the ends of), so they do not loose all the beautiful colors. Once they have been cooking for a while, take them out of the boiling water and let them cool off for a moment.<\/p>\n<p>Peel the beets and grate them (or you can just cut them into pieces if you prefer).<\/p>\n<p>Melt the butter in the small pot and start saut\u00e9ing beets. Stir in the flour.Add horseradish, sugar, salt and pepper. Saut\u00e9 everything for few more minutes.<\/p>\n<p>At the end add sour cream (it is optional, but it gives the dish very nice taste). Cook for another 2 minutes&#8230;and it ready! Great with meats and potatoes or just as a side dish.<\/p>\n<p>There are different recipes for warm beets, some of them have chopped onions or parsley in it. You can add whatever you would like to.
