Love is always in the air!\u00a0And we all express it different ways…<\/p>\n

Today I wanted to give you some examples how to express “love” in words in Polish!\u00a0In Poland, terms of endearment are often animal related and calling someone teddy bear, kitten, froggie, baby tiger or mouse is quite normal. It’s also popular to use words such as pearl, star, flower or strawberry! If you add the word moja\/m\u00f3j\u00a0<\/strong>to the front of words such as\u00a0\u017cabko (froggy), you turn it into, “my froggy” which apparently is really sweet!<\/p>\n

Here are some common phrases:<\/p>\n

Kocham Ci\u0119\u00a0<\/strong>– I love you<\/p>\n

Lubi\u0119 Ci\u0119<\/strong> or<\/em> podobasz mi si\u0119<\/strong> \u2013 I like you<\/p>\n

Kochasz mnie?<\/strong>– do you love me?<\/p>\n

My\u015bl\u0119 o Tobie\u00a0<\/strong>– I think about you<\/p>\n

Zawsze b<\/strong>\u0119<\/strong>dziesz w moim sercu<\/strong> – you’ll be always in my heart<\/p>\n

Kocham tylko Ciebie na zawsze<\/strong>– I love only you forever<\/p>\n

Prosz\u0119, przytul mnie<\/strong> – hug me, please<\/p>\n

Jeste\u015b<\/strong> moim najlepszym przyjacielem<\/strong> – You are my best friend<\/p>\n

M\u00f3j kochany<\/strong> (to male)\/Moja kochana<\/strong> (to female)- My love<\/p>\n

Jeste\u015b bardzo przystojny<\/strong> – You are very handsome<\/p>\n

Poca\u0142uj mnie<\/strong> – Kiss me<\/p>\n

Przytul mnie<\/strong> – Hug me<\/p>\n

Marz\u0119 o twoim dotyku<\/strong> – I dream of your touch<\/p>\n

Pozw\u00f3l mi by\u0107 tym jedynym<\/strong>…- Let me be the one…(ok, this one is really used mostly in love stories…:))<\/p>\n

Nie mog<\/strong>\u0119\u00a0<\/strong>\u017cy\u0107 bez Ciebie<\/strong> – I cant live without you<\/p>\n

Nie chc\u0119 Ci\u0119 straci\u0107<\/strong> \u2013 I don\u2019t want to lose you<\/p>\n

Nigdy ci\u0119 nie zapomn\u0119\u00a0<\/strong>– I will never forget you<\/p>\n

Jeste\u015b taka \u015bliczna<\/strong> – You are very beautiful<\/p>\n

Podoba mi si\u0119 Tw\u00f3j \u015bliczny u\u015bmiech<\/strong> \u2013 I like your gorgeous smile<\/p>\n

M\u00f3j drogi<\/strong> (said to a male), moja droga<\/strong> (to a female) \u00a0– my dear<\/p>\n

Misio<\/strong> – teddy bear<\/p>\n

M\u00f3j skarb, skarbie<\/strong> – my treasure, darling<\/p>\n
