{"id":2557,"date":"2011-12-21T00:18:51","date_gmt":"2011-12-21T00:18:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/polish\/?p=2557"},"modified":"2011-12-21T00:18:51","modified_gmt":"2011-12-21T00:18:51","slug":"kapusniak-recipe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/polish\/kapusniak-recipe\/","title":{"rendered":"Kapu\u015bniak Recipe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kapu\u015bniak is a great dish for cold, winter days&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Here is how to make it:<\/p>\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 4 slices Bacon (chopped)<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 1 large Onion (chopped)<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 2 sliced celery sticks<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 4 Carrots (peeled &amp; sliced)<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 2 large Potatoes (diced)<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 2 Garlic Cloves (minced)<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 1 small Cabbage (chopped)<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 910 g Pork Spare Ribs<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 1 meaty Ham Bone<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 455 g Sauerkraut<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 240 g Tomato Sauce<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 16 cups Beef Stock<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 1 tbsp Sweet Paprika spice<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 1 Bay Leaf<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 2 tbsp Sugar<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Chopped parsley<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Sour Cream (to garnish)<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Oil (as required)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/polish\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2011\/12\/Unknown-11.jpeg\" aria-label=\"Unknown 11\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-2558\"  alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"225\" \/ src=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/polish\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2011\/12\/Unknown-11.jpeg\"><\/a>Directions:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Put pork ribs into a pot and cook on high flame. Add cooking oil, if required.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Stir in bacon and cook until almost all the fat has been discharged.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Add onion, celery, carrots, potatoes, and garlic in a separate pan and cook until the onions are slightly browned.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Add cabbage and cook until tender.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Add the pork ribs, ham bone, sauerkraut, tomato sauce, beef stock, paprika, bay leaf, and sugar. Stir well and bring to a boil.
