{"id":2711,"date":"2012-01-24T21:01:41","date_gmt":"2012-01-24T21:01:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/polish\/?p=2711"},"modified":"2012-01-24T21:01:41","modified_gmt":"2012-01-24T21:01:41","slug":"nie-dziekuje","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/polish\/nie-dziekuje\/","title":{"rendered":"Nie, dzi\u0119kuj\u0119"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Many times you were probably in a situation when you had to refuse something, say &#8220;no&#8221; in a polite way.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Today I will try to give you some examples of refusal in a different situations you may find yourself in Poland.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Shopping at the store, when you are approached by the sales representative asking if she\/he can help you with anything, sometimes you just feel like just looking around and you do not help&#8230;What do you say then?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Nie,\u00a0dzi\u0119kuj\u0119<\/strong> &#8211; no, thank you<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Narazie tylko\u00a0si\u0119 rozgl\u0105dam<\/strong> &#8211; I&#8217;m just browsing right now<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Dam pani\/panu\u00a0zna\u0107, je\u015bli\u00a0b\u0119d\u0119\u00a0potrzebowa\u0107 pomocy<\/strong> &#8211; I will let you (polite form pani(f)\/panu (m)) know if I need help<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Nie dzi\u0119kuj\u0119, nie potrzebuj<strong>\u0119 pomocy &#8211; <\/strong><\/strong>No thank you, I do not need help<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">If you are purchasing something and sales person will ask you about additional insurance, you may use these phrases:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Nie,\u00a0dzi\u0119kuj\u0119,\u00a0<strong>nie potrzebuj<strong>\u0119 dodatkowego ubezpieczenia\/gwarancji &#8211; <\/strong><\/strong><\/strong>No, thank you, I do not need additional insurance\/warranty<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Wezm\u0119 tylko podstawow\u0105 gwarancj<strong><strong>\u0119 &#8211; <\/strong><\/strong><\/strong>I will take only basic warranty<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">While walking \u00a0in public, you may be approached by a person doing gallup poll (ankieta) for some company. You may not feel like talking to anyone, so you can just simply say:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Nie,\u00a0dzi\u0119kuj\u0119 &#8211; no, thank you<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Dzi\u0119kuj\u0119, ale nie jestem zainteresowana (f)\/zainteresowany (m)<\/strong> &#8211; Thank you, but I&#8217;m not interested<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Well, there are a lot of homeless people everywhere in the world. Probably everywhere, while you walking ,you may see a person like this begging for money. In this case decision is yours.
