Put these two together and everything gets even better&#8230;:)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/polish\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2012\/02\/100_1115.jpg\" aria-label=\"100 1115 300x225\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-2864\"  alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/ src=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/polish\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2012\/02\/100_1115-300x225.jpg\"><\/a>My mother always used to make her own horseradish and mix it with beets. It gave it a beautiful color and a touch of sweetness. I always loved it and I still make it once in a while.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">It is great as a dipping &#8220;sauce&#8221;. A lot of times I use it on a sandwich as well.Yum!!!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">This great mixture is usually called &#8220;<strong>\u0107wik\u0142a<\/strong><em>&#8220;. <\/em>It is really easy to make:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">1 teaspoon white vinegar<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">1 teaspoon brown sugar<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">2 cups homemade or purchased horseradish<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">1\/4 teaspoon salt<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">1 pound beets, cooked, peeled, cooled and grated or 1 (14-ounce) can prepared beets, drained and grated<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><em>Preparation:<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In a large bowl, mix together vinegar, brown sugar, horseradish and salt until well combined.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Add beets and mix thoroughly.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Pack into clean sterilized jars and store refrigerated for up to 2 weeks.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Definitely try it! It is such a\u00a0typical Polish condiment, served with roast or any kind of smoked meat, sausage or different cold cuts.
