The Palace of Culture and Science (Pa\u0142ac Kultury\u00a0i Nauki<\/strong>) is one of Warsaw\u2019s most recognizable buildings, but did you know that it was also one of the city\u2019s largest conference venues?<\/p>\n

The Palace of Culture and Science is possibly one of the Polish capital\u2019s most iconic buildings. Originally a gift from the Soviet Union to the people of Poland, it took just three years to build, and was opened in 1955. Its modern and comfortable offices are now the headquarters of several banks, insurance companies, research institutions and the Polish Academy of Sciences, and it is a popular choice of international firms setting up an office in Poland.<\/p>\n

Also one of the city\u2019s most prominent conference venues, each year sees hundreds of events taking place at the Palace of Culture and Science. The venue can hold up to 4, 500 delegates in total, with the largest congress hall holding over 2, 800. When it comes to technical capabilities, the Palace of Culture and Science is equipped with a fully integrated sound system and a wireless internet connection which simultaneously connects a network of several thousand computer terminals. The latest audio-visual equipment is also available, and there is a team of technicians on hand to make sure that your presentation runs without any technical hitches.<\/p>\n

Housed within the Palace of Culture and Science is the decadently decorated Congress Hall (Sala Kongresowa<\/strong>), one of Warsaw\u2019s most prestigious venues. It comprises of a large amphitheatre, balconies and boxes, and can hold over 2, 800 guests. The expansive foyer is spacious enough to host a banquet or an exhibition, and there are several smaller rooms which will accommodate up to 20 guests \u2013 perfect for VIP hospitality. As well as high-profile corporate events, the Congress Hall is also the venue of large-scale concerts \u2013 a whole host of international acts have graced its stage including the Rolling Stones back in 1967 and Tori Amos, Kraftwerk and Dionne Warwick in recent years.<\/p>\n

Smaller rooms within the Palace can be adapted and set up depending on the needs of the client, and there is a team of experienced event managers on hand to assist with planning and ensure that everything runs smoothly on the day.<\/p>\n
