And, while cold cereals are becoming more common, typically, breakfast is a much more substantial meal: cold cuts (<strong>w\u0119dliny<\/strong>), smoked sausages (<strong>kie\u0142basy w\u0119dzone<\/strong>), pickled and fresh fruits and vegetables (<strong>marynowane i \u015bwie\u017ce owoce i warzywa<\/strong>), hard-cooked eggs (<strong>jajka na twardo<\/strong>), cheeses (<strong>sery<\/strong>), pastries and breads galore (<strong>w br\u00f3d ciasta i pieczywa<\/strong>), jams and jellies (<strong>d\u017cemy i galaretki<\/strong>). Omelets (<strong>omlety<\/strong>) are becoming popular in the larger hotels and restaurants, but loose, moist scrambled eggs (<strong>jajecznica<\/strong>) are more common. Hot dogs (without rolls) are popular as well. Bread and rolls of all types figure prominently at the Polish breakfast table. Bread is usually fresh, warm and crispy &#8211; traditional toast like in USA is hard to find in most of the places. Eggs prepared many ways: scrambled with bits of sausage or bacon, hard- or soft-boiled, are common. Hot oatmeal (<strong>gor\u0105ce p\u0142atki owsiane<\/strong>), muesli or breakfast cereal with milk (<strong>p\u0142atki \u015bniadaniowe z mlekiem<\/strong>) are very common. Breakfast drinks include a somewhat coffee (<strong>kawa<\/strong>), tea (<strong>herbata<\/strong>), milk (<strong>mleko<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In the spring and summer, fresh vegetables and fruits make an appearance at the breakfast table.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Hope this made you hungry!
