Here in New England, US, we are used to corn mazes during Halloween season. But imagine how much fun would \u00a0it be to play in a snow maze instead? Snowlandia<\/strong> has the biggest snow maze in the world! Yes, you heard it right! The biggest and the greatest. Dress warm and get lost…literally.<\/p>\n

The snow maze idea was created for the first time in the winter season of 2015\/2016. Maze covers an area of about 2500 square meters, surrounded by walls over 2m high\u00a0and it is considered the biggest snow maze in the world. The 2018 season the organization increased the size to 3000 square meters keeping its title for the biggest snow maze in the world.\u00a0The icy labyrinth is located next to the Great Krokiew (Wielka Krokiew)<\/strong> ski jumping venue. The maze (labirynt<\/strong>) is designed to be safe and with great blocks of ice with various items inside, you will have even more fun. Attractions are for everyone, regardless of age – what an amazing vacation idea for the whole family!<\/p>\n

Snow maze is not the only attraction in Snowlandia. If you are a fan of Disney movie “Frozen”, you will love this Snow Castle as well! It\u00a0is a place full of chambers, secret passages, tunnels that lead to a tower or terrace from which a beautiful view extends, for example on Wielka Krokiew, Giewont<\/strong> and all of the Snowy Land.<\/p>\n

Bobsleigh track is available for all the daredevils!\u00a0The toboggan run is 200m long, it is wide and illuminated.\u00a0The convention provides an amazing experience and fun for both children and parents.<\/p>\n

A Mini Zoo (also part of Snowlandia)\u00a0is a great way to rest among the fauna and flora of Podhale. There\u00a0you will meet with numerous species of birds of prey, deer, goats, fallow deer, lambs, mouflons. You will be able to pet them and offer them a small snack too:) Caregivers will guarantee you and your children unforgettable moments in a forest full of birds and animals.<\/p>\n

On the top of all of these attractions, you can try your ski abilities if it is a new sport for you.\u00a0Pod Krokwi\u0105<\/strong> ski lift is a ski lift for beginners and children. \u00a0The advantage is the large space, which gives a sense of security and comfort during the first steps on skiing and snowboarding.\u00a0The slope is groomed, illuminated and artificially snowed.
\nDepending on the snow condition, the slope is opened from 9am until the last skier\/snowboarder decides to finish the day…<\/p>\n

Did I mention there are also some great cross country ski trails around? Literally winter wonderland! Can’t wait to visit this place. I had a chance to visit Zakopane few times and it definitely is on a top of my list if I ever move back to Poland (and my husband loves it too!). So many different attractions, amazing Polish food, great architecture and just beautiful Polish folklore everywhere you look! Skiing is one of our favorite sports as well, so what a better place to ask for?<\/p>\n
