Tomorrow all children in Poland will be celebrating Children’s Day!\u00a0Every year, Children\u2019s Day is celebrated across many nations of the world with great enthusiasm. In Poland, Children’s Day is known as “Dzie\u0144 Dziecka”<\/strong> and is celebrated on June 1. It was in 1952 when the “International Children’s Day” was first introduced in Poland. \u00a0It is a time when parents usually buy small gifts for their children, take them out to the movies, etc. The first week of June is a time of festivities organized in parks and entertainment centers for children. Schools usually organize special activities for children for the occasion.<\/p>\n

Recently, Children\u2019s Day celebrations in Poland have started special sessions in the Polish government. On this special day in the capital city of Warsaw, the Parliament is run by the children, instead of the regular Members of Parliament. Different debates are held on various matters every year \u2013 children\u2019s rights and education, and other general matters like war, peace or tolerance.<\/p>\n

I always celebrate this day here, in USA, with my daughters. We plant flowers, go to the movies, buy toys\/fun jewelry. And we talk…now that they get older we have our girls conversations about life!<\/p>\n

So what am I going to tell them tomorrow? I have few things in mind…<\/p>\n

You have enough. You are enough. Masz wszystko\/wystarczaj\u0105co. Jeste\u015b wszystkim\/wystarczaj\u0105ca.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Seek out the people and places that resonate with your soul. Szukaj ludzi i miejsc, kt\u00f3re rezonuj\u0105 z twoj\u0105 dusz\u0105.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Just because you can, doesn\u2019t mean you should. Dlatego \u017ce mo\u017cesz, nie znaczy, \u017ce powinna\u015b.<\/strong><\/p>\n

You are a woman, you do not NEED a man!! Jeste\u015b kobiet\u0105, nie potrzebujesz m\u0119\u017cczyzny !!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Be less sugar, more spice, and only as nice as you\u2019re able to without compromising yourself. B\u0105d\u017a mniej s\u0142odka, bardziej ostra i tylko tak mi\u0142a, jak mo\u017cesz bez kompromitacji.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Your body, your rules. Twoje cia\u0142o, twoje zasady.<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you have an opinion, you better know why.\u00a0Je\u015bli masz opini\u0119, lepiej wiedz dlaczego.<\/strong><\/p>\n

No matter where you are, you can always come home. Bez wzgl\u0119du na to, gdzie jeste\u015b, zawsze mo\u017cesz wr\u00f3ci\u0107 do domu.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Be kind; treat others how you would like them to treat you. B\u0105d\u017a mi\u0142a; traktuj innych, jak chcesz, \u017ceby ci\u0119 traktowali.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fall in love often. Particularly with ideas, art, music, literature, food and far-off places. Zakochuj si\u0119 cz\u0119sto. Szczeg\u00f3lnie w pomys\u0142ach, sztuce, muzyce, literaturze, jedzeniu i odleg\u0142ych miejscach.<\/strong><\/p>\n

If in doubt, remember whose daughter you are and straighten your crown. W razie w\u0105tpliwo\u015bci pami\u0119taj, czyj\u0105 c\u00f3rk\u0105 jeste\u015b i wyprostuj koron\u0119.<\/strong><\/p>\n
