We all know that as a Slavic language, Polish is one of the most difficult languages for native English speakers to learn! So I’m very proud of all of you who are trying hard!<\/p>\n

Polish language has always been on the top of the hardest languages to learn. Polish pronunciation (wymowa<\/strong>) can be particularly challenging. The sounds can be very subtly different from each other. A lot of words can sound almost identical, but mean something totally different. And case system can definitely drive you crazy! In Polish, there are the nominative (mianownik<\/strong>), genitive (dope\u0142niacz<\/strong>), dative (celownik<\/strong>), accusative (biernik<\/strong>), instrumental (narz\u0119dnik<\/strong>), locative (miejscownik<\/strong>), and vocative (wo\u0142acz<\/strong>) cases for nouns, pronouns, and adjectives that also double when you add the plurals!<\/p>\n

On the lighter note, unlike English, the words in Polish sound exactly how you spell them, so there are no surprises if you master the phonetic alphabet!<\/p>\n

Here are few examples of the most common mistakes people make in Polish language (and don’t worry, a lot of native Polish speakers make them too!).<\/p>\n
