Are you vegetarian, vegan, or possibly not a big fan of meat? I’m sure you find yourself researching vegetarian and vegan friendly restaurants near the place of your destination.<\/p>\n

I have to say that you will be pleasantly surprised at the number of vegetarian and vegan friendly restaurants in Poland. Not only that, you can also easily find 100% Vegan restaurants at the bigger cities and main tourist destinations as well!<\/p>\n

I’m not a vegetarian (I have to admit: I like the meat), but some of my friends in Poland are and I often ask them for opinions about new restaurants in Poland.<\/p>\n

More and more people are learning about animal rights and are making the switch and virtually overnight vegan restaurants have been popping up everywhere in Poland! And menus are usually amazing, with a lot of dishes to choose from.<\/p>\n

You can try vegan pierogi with potato, lentil or spinach, etc. You can also find sandwiches, soups, cold-pressed juices, salads, food bowls, burgers, vegan sushi and\u00a0amazing array of desserts including some very unique ice-cream flavors. Typically menu changes based on what is currently in season. Each place is different and staff is very well informed about vegan products.<\/p>\n

Some of the restaurants sell vegan shoes, belts and other accessories, t-shirts with different vegan quotes as well.<\/p>\n

Recently I heard of a nice, budget friendly vegetarian bar in Krak\u00f3w: Glonojad<\/strong>\u00a0(literally translates to “algae eater”) Wegetaria\u0144ski Bar.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

All the dishes are vegetarian and those that are vegan are clearly marked. This place has some great reviews and I hear that food is really delicious.<\/p>\n

It is a self-service vegetarian casual dining bar. According to the bar owners, they\u00a0prepare meals and salads freshly, every day. Majority of their vegetables, fruits, and herbs come from small, family-owned and local farms in Lesser Poland. Their\u00a0pastries do not contain artificial substances that \u201crefine\u201d their flavor and look. Also,\u00a0in a cooking process, they only use free-range eggs, GMO free. Soups, sauces and curries are not condensed with flour\u00a0and their dishes do not contain monosodium glutamate (MSG) (glutaminian sodu<\/strong>).<\/div>\n
It definitely sounds like a place worth visiting!<\/div>\n
