<\/p>\nDuring this past year, the COVID-19 pandemic has turned our lives upside down and changed not just the way we live and work, but also how we think and behave. Every part of the world has been affected, and every aspect of life has been impacted. Perhaps there are some life lessons to take away from this pandemic.<\/p>\n
I’m sure we all learned something…I have asked my friends to tell me one thing they have learned during the time when the whole world was fighting this deadly virus. I have gotten many wonderful responses and would like to share some of them with you.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
1.<\/span><\/strong> Patience. – Cierpliwo\u015b\u0107.<\/strong><\/p>\n 2.<\/span><\/strong> Humans are adaptive, and life is more flexible than we think. –\u00a0Ludzie s\u0105 adaptacyjni, a \u017cycie jest bardziej elastyczne, ni\u017c nam si\u0119 wydaje.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n 3.<\/span><\/strong> To find positive in every situation. –\u00a0Aby znale\u017a\u0107 co\u015b pozytywnego w ka\u017cdej sytuacji.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n 4.<\/strong><\/span> I have really been enjoying baking. Sometimes with my kids, just my daughter or just by myself. –\u00a0Naprawd\u0119 lubi\u0119 pieczenie. Czasami z moimi dzie\u0107mi, tylko z moj\u0105 c\u00f3rk\u0105 lub po prostu sama.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n 5.<\/strong><\/span> Not to take anything for granted. –\u00a0Nie bra\u0107 niczego za pewnik.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n 6.<\/strong><\/span> I have learned I can be an absolutely horrible person in the defense of others. –Nauczy\u0142em si\u0119, \u017ce mog\u0119 by\u0107 absolutnie okropn\u0105 osob\u0105 w obronie innych.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n 7.<\/span><\/strong> Not to trust government and do what needs to be done. –\u00a0Nie ufa\u0107 rz\u0105dowi i robi\u0107 to, co trzeba.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n 8.<\/span><\/strong> Because most of my face is hidden by the mask, I have found that eye contact and a friendly wave to a stranger passing by feels good. –\u00a0Poniewa\u017c maska \u200b\u200bzakrywa wi\u0119ksz\u0105 cz\u0119\u015b\u0107 mojej twarzy, zauwa\u017cy\u0142am, \u017ce ten kontakt wzrokowy i przyjazna machanie do przechodz\u0105cego nieznajomego s\u0105 przyjemne.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n 9.<\/strong><\/span> There is goodness and humanity, even in the darkness. –\u00a0Jest dobro i cz\u0142owiecze\u0144stwo, nawet w ciemno\u015bci.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n 10.<\/span><\/strong> Simple and easy are very different things. –\u00a0Proste i \u0142atwe to bardzo r\u00f3\u017cne rzeczy.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n What pandemic has taught me? My family is the most important! My two daughters are amazing.<\/p><\/div>\n What have I learned? A lot, the list is long. Life won\u2019t be the same after\u2014and that\u2019s o.k. I\u2019ve also realized the extraordinary importance of preparation; we knew a pandemic would come around at some point, but we were still somehow largely unprepared.<\/p>\n Hopefully we\u2019ll feel a new sense of appreciation if and when we do get to act normal again.
