The national flag carrier of Poland is LOT<\/strong>, which is responsible for most of the routes in and out of the country. Other major players in the country are the low cost carriers Ryan Air<\/strong> and Wizz Air<\/strong>, as well as other European companies such as Eurowings<\/strong>, Lufthansa, Air France, KLM<\/strong>\u00a0and many others. Warsaw Modlin Airport<\/strong> is the second airport serving the Polish capital and is mostly operated by low cost airlines. Warsaw Modlin Airport is an international airport opened in 2012 after being used as a military airfield. Krak\u00f3w Airport<\/strong> is one of the biggest in the country. Wroc\u0142aw Airport<\/strong>\u00a0is one of the biggest in Southern Poland, located in the Southwestern part of the country. Lublin Airport<\/strong>\u00a0is a relatively small airport in Eastern Poland.
