Image taken by and used with permission from Kasia Scontsas.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Pumpkin is called a queen of the autumn (<strong>kr\u00f3lowa jesieni<\/strong>) in Poland.\u00a0<span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">The golden Polish autumn (<strong>z\u0142ota Polska jesie\u0144<\/strong>) is a time of an amazing variety of wonderful vegetables and fruits. Among them there is \u00a0pumpkin (<strong>dynia<\/strong>), which efficiently pushes up in Polish menus and occupies an increasingly important position in the list of the most frequently consumed products. It combines excellent nutritional and health properties, as well as great versatility in the culinary art. In addition, the pumpkin is also a symbol of Halloween, which is gaining popularity in Poland.\u00a0<\/span> Let&#8217;s take a look at the most popular pumpkins and how do describe them using Polish language.<\/p>\n<p>They come in different shapes and sizes. It is also perfect as a beautiful autumn accent in the apartment or on the table. Most ornamental pumpkins are not suitable for eating. They have a very hard skin and flesh, but thanks to this they are resistant to damage and perfect for long storage.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Translation\"><strong>Dynia nie musi by\u0107 wy\u0142\u0105cznie produktem spo\u017cywczym. Doskonale nadaj\u0119 si\u0119 tak\u017ce jako pi\u0119kny jesienny akcent w mieszkaniu lub na stole. Wi\u0119kszo\u015b\u0107 dyni ozdobnych nie nadaje si\u0119 do jedzenia. Hokkaido is eaten with the skin, which softens when cooked. this greatly facilitates and speeds up its preparation. It contains a lot of seeds, but its flesh is firm, which makes it perfect for stewing and frying. It has a slightly nutty flavor. perfect for soups, salads, dumplings, pastes and baking.<\/p>\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\" class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large XcVN5d tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Translation\"><strong>Najwi\u0119ksz\u0105 zalet\u0105 Hokkaido jest z pewno\u015bci\u0105 fakt, \u017ce nie trzeba jej obiera\u0107. Zawiera sporo pestek, jednak jej mi\u0105\u017csz jest zwarty, przez co \u015bwietnie nadaje si\u0119 do duszenia i sma\u017cenia. Ma lekko orzechowy smak.
