Today is International Women’s Day (Mi\u0119dzynarodowy Dzie\u0144 Kobiet<\/strong>). Usually, it is filled with flowers, chocolate and happy celebration…But recent news from Ukraine changed a lot. Today I look at this day in a slightly different way…<\/p>\n

In the reality we’ve all found ourselves, today is about the brave women all around the world, but specifically women from Ukraine and also women from all of the countries who are helping Ukraine in any way they can.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Dear wives (\u017cony<\/strong>), mothers (matki<\/strong>), daughters (c\u00f3rki<\/strong>), grandmothers (babcie<\/strong>) and granddaughters (wnuczki<\/strong>), fleeing the war in Ukraine, leaving your families, your assets – your current life. I want you to know that so many people around the world do their best to help you in this terrible reality. Although the situation is very difficult and it is becoming more and more serious day by day, we will try our best to help you survive this terrible time.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

I also admire all Polish women (and women from other helping countries), tireless volunteers (niestrudzone wolontariuszki<\/strong>), brave organizers (odwa\u017cne organizatorki<\/strong>).<\/div>\n
From the very beginning, when the war broke out in Ukraine, they selflessly helped refugees. They helped when the terrified families came to Poland, they helped to navigate in a foreign cities, reach a safe place, organize a roof over your head, first need articles, childcare, medical aid. Helping families to get on their feet.<\/div>\n
You are all heroes! Be brave!<\/div>\n
We celebrate all of you today!<\/div>\n
Here is to all strong women!<\/div>\n
May we know them,<\/div>\n
May we raise them,<\/div>\n
May we be them!<\/div>\n
