And it&#8217;ll last another 35, as I&#8217;ve given up meat for lent. \u00a0But in order to take this on for a person who loves meat and lives in a country that loves meat, I&#8217;ve been looking up a few fun vegetarian recipes that are not only yummy, but that are inexpensive and provide me with the nutrients I need!<\/p>\n<p>I came across quite a few recipes and sites. \u00a0This weekend I&#8217;ve already made Vegan Brownies (which were actually really good!), and this week, since it&#8217;s been raining and &#8220;chilly,&#8221; I&#8217;ve decided to make soup and found <a title=\"Receitas Vegetarianas\" href=\"http:\/\/receitasvegetarianas.wordpress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">this recipe for a s<\/a>opa,\u00a0that&#8217;s SO Brazilian while at the same time, very vegetarian! Throughout the next few weeks, I&#8217;ll try to post the best recipes I find\/make that are easy to find ingredients for in Brazil and abroad!<\/p>\n<p><em>Creme de Feij\u00e3o Branco, Ab\u00f3bora, Cebola &amp; Cenoura <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Ingredientes<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Azeite<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Meio quilo de feij\u00e3o branco (n\u00e3o esquecer de deixar de molho por um dia)<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Meio quilo de ab\u00f3bora<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>1 cebola grande<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>4 dentes de alho amassados<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>1 punhado de sal marinho<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>3 cenouras cortadas aos bocados<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>1 punhado de salsa fresca cortadinha<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>\u00c1gua \u00e0 gosto<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>1 colher de sopa de paprika<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>1 colher de sobremesa de gengibre em p\u00f3<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>2 colheres de sopa de polpa de tomate<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Na panela el\u00e9ctrica, colocar feij\u00e3o branco (depois de uma noite de molho), ab\u00f3bora, cebola, alhos, azeite, salsa, e cenouras. Cortar tudo em pedacinhos e colocar para dentro da panela. Colocar um sal marinho a gosto.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Depois de j\u00e1 estar tudo j\u00e1 meio cozido, juntar duas colheres de sopa de polpa de tomate, 1 colher de sopa de paprika e uma colher de sobremesa de gengibre em p\u00f3.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Acompanhar com p\u00e3o e com couve salteada com alho e azeite.\u00a0Bom apetite!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Super easy and healthy and sounds yummy for a rainy night, doesn&#8217;t it?!<\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-size: 20px\"><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So I&#8217;ve been a vegetarian for about&#8230; 5 days.
