It comes from the same meaning (in sa alla in Arabic, ojal\u00e1 in Spanish), which means hopefully. In Brazil, it&#8217;s commonly associated with a <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Obatala\">god of Candombl\u00e9<\/a> but the use of the word as &#8220;hopefully&#8221; has its roots in medieval Europe. Hopefully!<\/p>\n<p>3. <strong>Se Deus quiser<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This also means hopefully, and literally it means &#8220;if God wishes.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><em>Ela vem nos visitar a semana que vem?
