Globo reported this past week on a woman in S\u00e3o Paulo state who discovered a 15 centimeter pin\u00e7a<\/i> (tweezers)\u00a0 floating around in her abdomen for 25 years. After having terrible stomach pain for a quarter of a century, she finally had the appropriate tests done and surmised that the instrument had been left by a careless doctor during her C-section when she had her son. She is now suing the hospital, since the doctor in charge of her son’s birth has since died.<\/p>\n
Her current doctor says they will have to perform another surgery to remove the tweezers. But the victim said: \u201cEu\u00a0estou com\u00a0trauma, at\u00e9 de passar na porta do hospital<\/i>.” [I’m traumatized, even to walk through the door of the hospital]<\/p>\n
