Here in Brazil we use a solid ingredient, ranging from vegetables, cooked meat, fish, and also use mayonnaise or <em>creme de leite<\/em> (fresh milk cream) to mix it all up.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Early in January I was at a friend&#8217;s birthday and my good friend Beth Penof volunteered to make her tuna <em>pat\u00ea<\/em>. I thought it was a great opportunity to show you guys how to make this great appetizer; you can eat pat\u00ea with whatever you want and we usually eat it with toasts, bread, as a garnish for meat, etc. Check out the recipe and some cool vocabulary below.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">P.S. I use the diminutive, cumbuquinha.<br \/>\nlata de atum &#8211; a can of tuna<br \/>\ncebola picadinha &#8211; chopped up onion<br \/>\nazeite de oliva extra virgem &#8211; extra virgin olive oil<br \/>\npode colocar \u00e0 vontade &#8211; you can pour it as you wish<br \/>\nno olh\u00f4metro &#8211; without a fixed measure.
