Today let’s start a series of posts with colloquial Brazilian Portuguese expressions. These expressions are not usually found in dictionaries or textbooks so I’ve decided to share them with you guys.<\/p>\n

\nAdivinha o qu\u00ea! – Guess what!
\nAguenta firme a\u00ed! – Hang in there!
\nA prop\u00f3sito… – By the way…
\nAqui est\u00e1! – Here you are!
\nAs coisas est\u00e3o se encaixando. – Things are falling into place.
\nAt\u00e9 aqui tudo bem. – So far so good.
\nA vida \u00e9 assim mesmo! – That’s life!
\n\u00c0 vista ou cart\u00e3o? – Cash or charge?
\nBem feito! – It serves you right!
\nCara ou coroa? – Heads or tails?
\nCom certeza! – Definitely!
\nComo \u00e9 que \u00e9 mesmo? – Come again?
\nComo \u00e9 que pode? – How come?
