Estar a fim de fazer alguma coisa<\/strong> = to feel like doing something<\/p>\n<p>O que voc\u00ea est\u00e1 afim de fazer hoje \u00e0 noite?<br \/>\n<em>What do you feel like doing tonight?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>N\u00e3o estou afim de fazer nada.<br \/>\n<em>I don&#8217;t feel like doing anything.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>02. Estar atolado de trabalho<\/strong> = to be swamped with work<\/p>\n<p>N\u00e3o vou sair para almo\u00e7ar com voc\u00eas hoje. Estou atolado de trabalho!<br \/>\nI&#8217;m not going out for lunch with you guys today. I&#8217;m swamped with work!<\/p>\n<p>Ela disse que ia se atrasar porque estava atolada de trabalho.<br \/>\nShe said she was going to be late because she was swamped with work.<\/p>\n<p><strong>03. Estar de castigo<\/strong> = to be grounded \/ colocar de castigo = to ground someone<\/p>\n<p>N\u00e3o posso sair para brincar. Estou de castigo.<br \/>\n<em>I can&#8217;t go out and play. I&#8217;m grounded.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Se minha m\u00e3e descobrir isso ela me coloca de castigo.<br \/>\n<em>If my mom finds out about that she&#8217;ll ground me.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>04. Estar de ressaca<\/strong> = to have a hangover<\/p>\n<p>N\u00e3o \u00e9 de se admirar que ele esteja com uma baita ressaca. Ele bebeu uma garrafa inteira de v\u00f3dka ontem \u00e0 noite.<br \/>\n<em>No wonder he&#8217;s got such a bad hangover. He drank a whole bottle of vodka last night.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Se voc\u00ea est\u00e1 de ressaca, \u00e9 melhor tomar s\u00f3 \u00e1gua.<br \/>\n<em>If you have a hangover, you should drink only water.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>05. Estar (de saco) cheio de<\/strong> = to be fed up with; to be sick and tired of<\/p>\n<p>Estou de saco cheio do barulho que esses vizinhos v\u00eam fazendo.<br \/>\n<em>I&#8217;m fed up with the noise the neighbors have been making.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Estou de saco cheio das suas desculpas esfarrapadas!<br \/>\n<em>I&#8217;m sick and tired of your lame excuses!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>06. Estar de volta \u00e0 estaca zero<\/strong> = to be back to square done<\/p>\n<p>Infelizmente, depois de todos os nossos esfor\u00e7os, estamos de volta \u00e0 estaca zero.<br \/>\n<em>Unfortunately, after all our efforts, we&#8217;re back to square one.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Se voc\u00ea n\u00e3o salvar esse arquivo e perder todo esse conte\u00fado, estaremos de volta \u00e0 estaca zero.<br \/>\n<em>If you don&#8217;t save this file and lose all this content, we&#8217;ll be back to square one.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>07. I need to practice more.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Faz tempo que n\u00e3o toco viol\u00e3o, ent\u00e3o estou meio enferrujado.<br \/>\n<em>I haven&#8217;t played the guitar for some time, so I&#8217;m kind of rusty.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>08. Estar de licen\u00e7a maternidade<\/strong> = to be on maternity leave<\/p>\n<p>A Susan n\u00e3o vai trabalhar at\u00e9 m\u00eas que vem. Ela est\u00e1 de licen\u00e7a maternidade.<br \/>\n<em>Susan is not goint to work until next month. She&#8217;s on maternity leave.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Voc\u00ea n\u00e3o vai ter um minuto de folga durante sua licen\u00e7a maternidade.
