It is home to many animals such as the anaconda and jaguar. Some also believe that Brazil has the most insects in the world. Here are some animals you may not know:<\/p>\n<p><em>Pregui\u00e7a-de-coleira<\/em> (Maned Sloth) Several species of <em>bicho-pregui\u00e7a<\/em> (sloth) are found in Brazil. <em>Bicho-pregui\u00e7a<\/em>, translated literally, means &#8220;lazy bug&#8221; or &#8220;lazy animal.&#8221; The <em>pregui\u00e7a-de-coleira<\/em> is a specific species of three-toed sloth and is only found in eastern Brazil.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/portuguese\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2015\/06\/download-1.jpeg\" aria-label=\"Download 1\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6121\"  alt=\"download (1)\" width=\"259\" height=\"194\" \/ src=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/portuguese\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2015\/06\/download-1.jpeg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>Muriquis\u00a0<\/em>are monkeys with long legs, related to spider monkeys. There are found in <em>matas<\/em> (woods) in southern and south-eastern states in Brazil. You can find these frogs in\u00a0<em>plan\u00edcies costeiras<\/em> (coastal areas) of the state of Rio.
