  1. Ter pressa\/estar com pressa<\/strong> \u2013 to be in a hurry<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Exemplo: n\u00e3o posso ficar muito, estou com pressa<\/strong>. \u2013 I can\u2019t stay longer, I\u2019m in a hurry.<\/em><\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    1. Estar na correria<\/strong> \u2013 to be in a hurry<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Exemplo: Desde que o projeto come\u00e7ou eu estou na correria<\/strong> para terminar. \u2013 Since the Project started I have been in a hurry to finish it.<\/em><\/p>\n

       <\/p>\n

      1. Estar sem tempo<\/strong> \u2013 not to have free time, to be busy<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Exemplo: Gabriel est\u00e1 tempo para<\/strong> nada, ele quase n\u00e3o me liga mais. \u2013 Gabriel has been busy, he almost never calls me anymore.<\/em><\/p>\n

        1. Apressado<\/strong> \u2013 person who is in a hurry<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Exemplo: Vinicius est\u00e1 muito apressado<\/strong> ultimamente, ele devia relaxar mais. \u2013 Vinicius has been in such a hurry lately, he should relax more.<\/em><\/p>\n

           <\/p>\n

          1. N\u00e3o precisa ter pressa<\/strong> \u2013 take your time, there\u2019s no need to hurry<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Exemplo: O trabalho de sociologia \u00e9 para daqui a 2 meses, n\u00e3o precisa ter pressa<\/strong>. \u2013 The sociology essay is due 2 months from now, there is no need to hurry.<\/p>\n

            1. R\u00e1pido\/rapidinho<\/strong> \u2013 there are two ways of using it:<\/li>\n
            2. A) hurry up<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              Exemplo: R\u00e1pido<\/strong>, se n\u00e3o voc\u00ea vai perder o trem. \u2013 Hurry up or you\u2019ll miss the train.<\/em><\/p>\n

               <\/p>\n

              1. B) fast<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                Exemplo: vou l\u00e1 na padaria rapidinho<\/strong> e j\u00e1 volto \u2013 I\u2019ll go to the bakery really fast and will be right back.<\/em><\/p>\n

                1. Correr\/dar uma corridinha<\/strong> \u2013 go somewhere fast, quickly<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                  Exemplo: Corre<\/strong> l\u00e1 na cafeteria e traz um caf\u00e9 para mim, por favor? \u2013 Could you go to the coffee shop quickly and bring me a coffee, please?<\/em><\/p>\n

                  1. Dar um pulinho<\/strong> \u2013 to drop by, go for a quick visit<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                    Exemplo: Vou dar um pulinho<\/strong> na casa da minha av\u00f3 mais tarde. \u2013 I\u2019m gonna drop by my grandma\u2019s house later on.<\/em><\/p>\n

                    1. Perder tempo<\/strong> \u2013 to waste time<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                      Exemplo: Joaquina n\u00e3o quer nada com o Lucas, ele est\u00e1 perdendo o tempo<\/strong> dele. \u2013 Joaquina doesn\u2019t want anything to do with Lucas, he is wasting his time.<\/em><\/p>\n

                       <\/p>\n

                      1. Perda de tempo<\/strong> \u2013 a waste of time<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                        Exemplo: Eu li o manual todo, mas foi uma perda de tempo<\/strong>, n\u00e3o entendi nada. \u2013 I read the manual, but it was a waste of time, I didn\u2019t understand anything.<\/em><\/p>\n
