Don\u2019t worry! The imperative can be very similar to English, though some things do change \ud83d\ude42<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The imperative is used to express an order, a request, an instruction (in recipes or manuals, for instance), an advice or a warning. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It must be conjugated according to the pronoun &#8211; in Portuguese, the imperative is used with voc\u00ea (you singular), voc\u00eas (you plural) and n\u00f3s (we). The verb tense is the present subjunctive, but with some alterations. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">To form the imperative, we must be attentive to verb terminations: <\/span><b>ar, er, ir<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. Generally, in the imperative mood, they are respectively dropped and replaced by <\/span><b>e, a, a<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\/ <\/span><b>emos, amos, amos<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\/ <\/span><b>em, am, am<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. As in: \u201cVamos na festa da Ana!
