In case you are, or intend to go, to a Portuguese speaking country, it is very likely that you will find yourself in a situation in which it will be necessary to know how to <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">oferecer<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (offer), <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">aceitar<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (accept) or <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">recusar<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (refuse) something in a <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">educada<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (polite) or more casual way. Be it at a caf\u00e9, a restaurant, a diner, a friend\u2019s house or a business meeting, these are all different contexts which require various levels of formality. There are infinite ways of doing that in a language, and it is important to know how to tell them apart to use the right language.
