She is a professor at USP (Universidade de S\u00e3o Paulo) and bibliography includes over <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">quatorze<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (14) books focusing mostly on issues of<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> ra\u00e7a<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (race), <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">hist\u00f3ria <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">(hist\u00f3ria) and imperial era Brazil. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Helo\u00edsa Starling is a political scientist who teaches at UFMG (Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais) at the humanities department.
