Are you excited for another blog post?\u00a0 Perhaps some of you are wondering what the word<\/span> animados<\/b> means, so this text is going to teach you some recurring uses of this beloved word in the Brazilian vocabulary. <\/span>Animado<\/b> comes from the verb <\/span>animar<\/span><\/i>, which has several forms of usage in everyday language in Portuguese. Take a look at this sentence: Voc\u00eas est\u00e3o <\/span>animados<\/span><\/i> para a festa de hoje? (Are you excited about the party today?)<\/span><\/p>\n

Here, the word <\/span>animados <\/b>has the sense of being willing to do something, have positive expectations, excitement, energy and confidence.<\/span><\/p>\n

      As we have seen in a previous post, Brazilians are effusive and love to use the superlative to describe things. In this case, <\/span>animad\u00edssimo<\/b> or its opposite <\/span>desanimad\u00edssimo<\/b>:<\/span><\/p>\n
