Songs: David Bowie Meets Seu Jorge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The other day, my friend and I were talking about songs Brazilian artists translate from another language (mostly from English) to Portuguese and whether we like them or not.\u00a0 We came to the conclusion that some artists have some translations and remakes that are a little tasteless (i.e., Preta Gil singing \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=sEUadb_fbOs&amp;feature=related\">Hoje Estou Solteira<\/a>,\u201d a tribute to Beyonce\u2019s Single Ladies), but some end up being even more beautiful than the original.\u00a0 One of my favorite examples of these remakes is the entire\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Life-Aquatic-Studio-Sessions\/dp\/B000BRD6T4\">Life Aquatic Studio Sessions<\/a> album from\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0362270\/\">The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou<\/a>, \u00a0which consists of David Bowie remakes by Seu Jorge.\u00a0 Some of the songs are pretty much directly translated from the original David Bowie lyrics, while others just kind of have the same idea, such as the song below.\u00a0\u00a0<em>Changes<\/em> is one of my favorite David Bowie\u00a0<em>and<\/em> Seu Jorge songs.\u00a0 Can you think of any Portuguese remakes of songs originally in another language that you like?<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Seu Jorge -
