Although they are <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">seres divinos<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">divine beings), they have feelings like us: they <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">amam, sofrem, entristecem, alegram ou ficam com raiva<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">love, suffer, get sad, get happy or get angry). That is why it is quite common for people to make <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">oferendas<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">offerings) to the<\/span><b> orix\u00e1s<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.
