Good morning! Last week, on October 12th, Brazilians got a break to observe o <em>Dia de Nossa Senhora Aparecida (Our Lady of Aparecida day)<\/em>, a <em>feriado<\/em> (public holiday) in the country. She is considered to be the official <em>padroeira<\/em> (patroness) of Brazil. Most importantly, her day is regarded as <em>Dia das Crian\u00e7as<\/em> (Children&#8217;s Day)! Unlike most countries, who commonly celebrate it in June, Brazil devotes the month of <em>Outubro<\/em> to the little ones. And with them in mind, today&#8217;s post will go over a beautiful and special moment in our lives: the process of getting pregnant and the birth of a baby. So we have a look at some typical phrases and terms to describe this one of a kind moment, from the <\/span>descoberta da gesta\u00e7\u00e3o de uma nova vida (find out about generating a new life) to
