Types of Boats<\/h2>\n

First of all, I’d like to point out that while in English you may sometimes hear a large vessel (\u0441\u0443<\/span>\u0434\u043d\u043e<\/strong>) called a boat, in Russian this kind of vessel would be called \u043a\u0430<\/span>\u0442\u0435\u0440<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0(a generic term for a motor boat with an inboard engine), \u044f<\/span>\u0445\u0442\u0430<\/strong> (yacht), or \u043a\u043e\u0440\u0430<\/span>\u0431\u043b\u044c<\/strong> (ship). This post will concentrate on smaller rowboats (\u043b\u043e<\/span>\u0434\u043a\u0430<\/strong>), even though a motor boat with an outboard engine is called \u043c\u043e\u0442\u043e<\/span>\u0440\u043d\u0430\u044f \u043b\u043e<\/span>\u0434\u043a\u0430<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
