You may also come across such labels as &#8220;<strong>\u041a\u043e\u043d\u0442\u0430\u0301\u043a\u0442\u043d\u0430\u044f \u0438\u043d\u0444\u043e\u0440\u043c\u0430\u0301\u0446\u0438\u044f<\/strong>&#8221; (&#8220;Contact information&#8221;). This section will often include some of the following parts, whose order may vary.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>\u0424\u0418\u041e<\/strong> (<strong>\u0444\u0430\u043c\u0438\u0301\u043b\u0438\u044f, \u0438\u0301\u043c\u044f, \u043e\u0301\u0442\u0447\u0435\u0441\u0442\u0432\u043e<\/strong>; literally &#8220;Surname, Given Name, <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/russian\/proper-use-of-russian-proper-names\/\">Patronymic<\/a>,&#8221; meaning your full legal name) \u2014 this can also appear as the header of your r\u00e9sum\u00e9 instead of the word \u0440\u0435\u0437\u044e\u043c\u0435.<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u0414\u0430\u0301\u0442\u0430 \u0440\u043e\u0436\u0434\u0435\u0301\u043d\u0438\u044f<\/strong> (birth date). Wait, doesn&#8217;t this lead to age-based discrimination? Well, firing or not hiring someone based on their age is technically <a href=\"https:\/\/pensiolog.ru\/tk\/stat-64\/\">illegal<\/a>, but yes, in practice, many <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themoscowtimes.com\/2018\/08\/20\/no-trust-what-russians-think-about-the-pension-reform-plan-a62520\">Russians feel like it&#8217;s hard to find a new job<\/a> once you&#8217;re past age 45.<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u0413\u0440\u0430\u0436\u0434\u0430\u0301\u043d\u0441\u0442\u0432\u043e<\/strong> (citizenship)<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u041c\u0435\u0301\u0441\u0442\u043e \u0436\u0438\u0301\u0442\u0435\u043b\u044c\u0441\u0442\u0432\u0430<\/strong> (place of residence) \u2014 note that it is uncommon to list your full street address on a Russian resume, possibly for privacy and safety reasons. People usually include the city (\u0433\u043e\u0440\u043e\u0434) and possibly neighborhood (\u0440\u0430\u0439\u043e\u043d).<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u0421\u0435\u043c\u0435\u0301\u0439\u043d\u043e\u0435 \u043f\u043e\u043b\u043e\u0436\u0435\u0301\u043d\u0438\u0435<\/strong> (marital status). Luckily, this, along with the applicant&#8217;s photo, is becoming optional, but it is often still included in r\u00e9sum\u00e9s. &#8220;Single&#8221; is <strong>\u043d\u0435\u0436\u0435\u043d\u0430\u0301\u0442<\/strong> (for men) or <strong>\u043d\u0435 \u0437\u0430\u0301\u043c\u0443\u0436\u0435\u043c<\/strong> (for women); married is <strong>\u0436\u0435\u043d\u0430\u0301\u0442<\/strong> or <strong>\u0437\u0430\u0301\u043c\u0443\u0436\u0435\u043c<\/strong>, respectively. These terms only apply to hetero marriages (see more on how to talk about same-sex marriage <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/russian\/what-subjects-should-i-avoid-in-a-russian-conversation\/\">here<\/a>).<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u0422\u0435\u043b\u0435\u0444\u043e\u0301\u043d<\/strong> (phone number) \u2014 usually both your home (<strong>\u0434\u043e\u043c\u0430\u0301\u0448\u043d\u0438\u0439<\/strong>) and cell\/mobile (<strong>\u043c\u043e\u0431\u0438\u0301\u043b\u044c\u043d\u044b\u0439<\/strong>) number. You&#8217;ll want to include your area code (<strong>\u043a\u043e\u0434 \u0433\u043e\u0301\u0440\u043e\u0434\u0430<\/strong>) because large cities have more than one, and cell phone numbers have their own &#8220;area&#8221; \u2014 really, carrier \u2014 codes.<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u042d\u043b\u0435\u043a\u0442\u0440\u043e\u0301\u043d\u043d\u044b\u0439 \u0430\u0301\u0434\u0440\u0435\u0441<\/strong> (email).
