COVID-19, caused by a novel coronavirus (<strong>\u043a\u043e\u0440\u043e\u043d\u0430\u0432\u0438\u0301\u0440\u0443\u0441<\/strong>), has, understandably, received a lot of coverage in Russian-language media. It is thought that animal meat (<strong>\u043c\u044f\u0301\u0441\u043e<\/strong>) might have been sold at a market (<strong>\u0440\u044b\u0301\u043d\u043e\u043a<\/strong>) in the city of Wuhan (<strong>\u0423\u0445\u0430\u0301\u043d\u044c<\/strong>). Interestingly, the name of the city, \u0423\u0445\u0430\u043d\u044c, has appeared both as a feminine and as a masculine noun in Russian media: \u0432 \u0423\u0445\u0430\u043d\u0438 and \u0432 \u0423\u0445\u0430\u043d\u0435, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Even though the city was eventually placed under quarantine (<strong>\u043a\u0430\u0440\u0430\u043d\u0442\u0438\u0301\u043d<\/strong>), the virus has spread to other counties. Russia has had 2 cases (<strong>\u0441\u043b\u0443\u0301\u0447\u0430\u0438<\/strong>) of the disease, both in people returning from China. All flights (<strong>\u0440\u0435\u0301\u0439\u0441\u044b<\/strong>) from China now land in one specific airport.<\/p>\n<p>Several Russian citizens (<strong>\u0433\u0440\u0430\u0301\u0436\u0434\u0430\u043d\u0435<\/strong>) have been evacuated (<strong>\u044d\u0432\u0430\u043a\u0443\u0438\u0301\u0440\u043e\u0432\u0430\u043d\u044b<\/strong>) from China. Some have been put up at convalescent resorts (<strong>\u0441\u0430\u043d\u0430\u0442\u043e\u0301\u0440\u0438\u0438<\/strong>) for a two-week quarantine, although local residents (<strong>\u0436\u0438\u0301\u0442\u0435\u043b\u0438<\/strong>) have sometimes <a href=\"https:\/\/meduza.io\/en\/feature\/2020\/02\/11\/we-decided-to-defend-our-home\">resisted<\/a> housing evacuees there. There were also stories of people <a href=\"https:\/\/time.com\/5782790\/3-people-escape-coronavirus-quarantine-russia\/\">leaving the hospital without authorization<\/a>, presumably because they were not given proper information and care.<\/p>\n<p>How has your community been affected by COVID-19?
