Does anyone else here have a drawing of their mom or grandma like this one? When I was in kindergarten I had to make one of these for \u0412\u043e\u0441\u044c\u043c\u043e\u0301\u0435 \u041c\u0430\u0301\u0440\u0442\u0430<\/strong> (March 8th). First, let\u2019s go over the rules for superlatives .<\/h4>\n

Simple superlative is easy to follow. For most adjectives, add the suffix –<\/strong>\u0435\u0439\u0448<\/strong>–<\/strong> plus the correct ending (singular: masc. \u2013 <\/strong>\u0438\u0439<\/strong>, fem. \u2013 <\/strong>\u0430\u044f<\/strong>, neuter \u2013 \u043e\u0435<\/strong> or the plural –\u0438\u0435<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

The rule for adjectives with \u0433, \u043a, or \u0445:<\/h4>\n

If the adjective ends on the consonants \u0433, \u043a, <\/strong>or \u0445<\/strong> (right before the ending), then add the suffix –\u0430\u0439\u0448<\/strong>-, which will also be followed by the endings depending on the number and gender. But be careful, because \u0433 <\/strong>will change to \u0436, \u043a <\/strong>to \u0447, <\/strong>and x <\/strong>to \u0448. <\/strong>Also, the suffix –\u0430\u0439\u0448-<\/strong> will always be stressed (\u043f\u043e\u0434 \u0443\u0434\u0430\u0440\u0435\u0301\u043d\u0438\u0435\u043c<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

\u0441\u0442\u0440\u043e\u0301\u0433<\/u><\/strong>\u0430\u044f<\/strong> – \u0441\u0442\u0440\u043e\u0436\u0430\u0301<\/u>\u0439\u0448<\/strong>\u0430\u044f<\/strong> [strict – the strictest]<\/p>\n

Moreover, prefix \u043d\u0430\u0438<\/strong>– is sometimes added along with the suffixes, e.g., \u043d\u0430\u0438\u043b\u0443\u0301\u0447\u0448\u0430\u044f <\/strong>(the best of the best).<\/p>\n

Compound Superlative<\/h4>\n

The compound superlative is even easier \u2013 simply add the word \u201c\u0441\u0430\u0301\u043c\u044b\u0439\u201d (<\/strong>or \u0441\u0430\u0301\u043c\u0430\u044f\/\u0441\u0430\u0301\u043c\u043e\u0435\/\u0441\u0430\u0301\u043c\u044b\u0435,<\/strong> respectively) before the unchanged adjective to add that superiority element \u0438 \u0433\u043e\u0442\u043e\u0301\u0432\u043e!<\/strong> (and voila!) For example:<\/p>\n
