    What is going to give your cursive the most pizzazz are, of course, the Capital Letters.<\/em><\/p>\n

    Let\u2019s practice with the ones that appear in Yelena\u2019s pelmeni recipe:<\/p>\n

      This is not only a matter of aesthetics but practicality. Russians write their numbers differently (\u0441 \u0437\u0430\u0432\u0438\u0442\u0443\u0448\u043a\u0430\u043c\u0438 or with more squiggles), so follow my guide above if you don\u2019t want to sabotage your friends\u2019 pelmeni-making party. I can\u2019t tell you how many times Americans have told me that my 2s and 7s look like the letter \u201cz\u201d.<\/p>\n

        Connecting letters<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        It\u2019s one thing to learn how each letter is written in cursive \u2014 it\u2019s a whole other thing to connect them in the way that\u2019s pretty and efficient. I personally never know how to best connect the letter \u201c\u043e\u201d to the next letter \u2014 and this recipe has plenty of words like that. Also, remember that writing in cursive doesn\u2019t mean that all letters must connect as you write them \u2014 sometimes there are those tricky combinations like -\u0414\u043b- or -\u0431\u0430-. It\u2019s ok to add that connecting line after <\/em>you finish writing the word.<\/p>\n

          \u041c\u044f\u0433\u043a\u0438\u0439 \u0437\u043d\u0430\u043a<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          So many verbs end in \u201c\u044c\u201d in recipes and with \u043c\u044f\u0433\u043a\u0438\u0439<\/strong> \u0437\u043d\u0430\u043a<\/strong>, less is more. Avoid unnecessary lines and stop the pen as you draw that little circle into itself.<\/p>\n
