The structure of the test reminded me of the sample questions from the <a href=\"http:\/\/news.bbc.co.uk\/nolpda\/ukfs_news\/hi\/newsid_3485000\/3485939.stm\"><strong>\u0415\u0413\u042d (\u0415\u0434<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\u0438<\/span>\u043d\u043d\u044b\u0439 \u0413\u043e\u0441\u0443\u0434<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\u0430<\/span>\u0440\u0441\u0442\u0432\u0435\u043d\u043d\u044b\u0439 \u042d\u043a\u0437<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\u0430<\/span>\u043c\u0435\u043d)<\/strong> [Unified State Exam]<\/a> that were published in my favorite Russian paper, <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rusrep.ru\">\u0420<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\u0443<\/span>\u0441\u0441\u043a\u0438\u0439 \u0420\u0435\u043f\u043e\u0440\u0442<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\u0451<\/span>\u0440<\/a><\/strong>, back in May, at a time when almost every schoolkid in Russia was trying their best to pass the two exams in Russian Language and Maths. At the same time their parents and teachers were screaming to the press that the test was pure abuse and therefore against the law, while universities threated to not pay any attention to its results anyway. Most likely you knew Russian rather well in school, just that it was a long time ago and now Rozental&#8217;s textbook has been changed for you by the spellcheck of Word.
