What was I doing?] But for now, another post about social networking&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>I have blogged <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/russian\/social-networking-%e2%80%93-in-russian\/\" title=\"Social Networking \u2013 In Russian\" target=\"_blank\">about social networking<\/a> before, and I mentioned the website <strong>\u00ab\u0424\u0435\u0439\u0441\u0431\u0443\u043a\u00bb<\/strong> [Facebook]. Well, in case you have not noticed, <strong>\u00ab\u0424\u0435\u0439\u0441\u0431\u0443\u043a\u00bb<\/strong> has made some <strong>\u00ab\u0438\u0437\u043c\u0435\u043d<u>\u0435<\/u>\u043d\u0438\u044f\u00bb<\/strong> [changes] in the past few days. Over on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/learn.russian?sk=wall&amp;filter=2\" title=\"Transparent Russian on Facebook\" target=\"_blank\">our Facebook page<\/a> (if you did not know it, my friends, I am telling you now: Transparent Language&#8217;s Russian blog has a Facebook page, and we would love it if you clicked <strong>\u00ab\u041c\u043d\u0435 \u043d\u0440<u>\u0430<\/u>\u0432\u0438\u0442\u0441\u044f\u00bb<\/strong> [Like]), there is quite a discussion going on.<\/p>\n<p>In response to <strong>\u00ab\u0432\u043e\u043f\u0440<u>\u043e<\/u>\u0441\u00bb<\/strong> [the question] &#8220;Use your Russian to say what you think of the new Facebook layout!&#8221; there are over two hundred responses. Yes, my friends, I do mean <strong>\u00ab\u0434\u0432<u>\u0435<\/u>\u0441\u0442\u0438\u00bb<\/strong> [two hundred]. I do not like the new format, but I was not overly fond of the old one either.<\/p>\n<p>A few people like it, such as one commenter who wrote <strong>\u00ab<u>\u043e<\/u>\u0447\u0435\u043d\u044c \u0445\u043e\u0440\u043e\u0448<u>\u043e<\/u>\u00bb<\/strong> [very good]. And some others really, <em>really<\/em> hate it and have used <strong>\u00ab\u043c\u0430\u0442\u00bb<\/strong> [bad language <em>(okay, so I recognize that my example is not<\/em> technically <em>considered <strong>\u00ab\u043c\u0430\u0442\u00bb<\/strong>, but it is still a word you really should not use in polite company)<\/em>]. A common word I see in this discussion is <strong>\u00ab\u0433\u043e\u0432\u043d<u>\u043e<\/u>\u00bb<\/strong> [s**t].<\/p>\n<p>But my favorite comment is this one: <strong>\u00ab\u042f \u043b\u044e\u0431\u043b<u>\u044e<\/u> \u0420\u043e\u0441\u0441<u>\u0438<\/u>\u044e\u00bb<\/strong> [I love Russia]. No matter what Facebook decides to do when changing its interface, <strong>\u00ab\u043c\u044b \u043b<u>\u044e<\/u>\u0431\u0438\u043c \u0420\u043e\u0441\u0441<u>\u0438<\/u>\u044e\u00bb<\/strong> [we love Russia], right?<\/p>\n<p><em>What do you think about the changes?
