She is also one of the best examples of the topic of today\u2019s post &#8211; <strong>\u0440<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">\u0443<\/span>\u043d\u0433\u043b\u0438\u0448<\/strong> (Runglish).<\/p>\n<p>Runglish is a pidgin dialect; it is a mix, sometimes very heavy, of <strong>\u0430\u043d\u0433\u043b<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">\u0438<\/span>\u0439\u0441\u043a\u0438\u0435 \u0441\u043b\u043e\u0432<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">\u0430<\/span><\/strong> (English words) into <strong>\u0440<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">\u0443<\/span>\u0441\u0441\u043a\u0430\u044f \u0440\u0435\u0447\u044c<\/strong> (Russian-language conversations). Basically, it\u2019s nothing new. And depending on who does it, when and how, it can sound totally <strong>\u0442\u0440<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">\u0435<\/span>\u043d\u0434\u043e\u0432\u043e<\/strong> (trendy) or totally not so much.<\/p>\n<p>I believe that if you are trying to learn Russian and live in an English-speaking country, understanding Runglish can be very beneficial.<\/p>\n<p>1. It can help you <strong>\u0441\u0434<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">\u0435<\/span>\u043b\u0430\u0442\u044c \u043f<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">\u0435<\/span>\u0440\u0432\u044b\u0439 \u0448\u0430\u0433<\/strong> (put your foot in the door) on your journey to understanding conversational Russian. Understanding Russians can be very tough &#8211; we speak fast, we swallow or slur the endings, we don\u2019t enunciate like they do in audio lessons. Heck, we don\u2019t even put the stress properly, not to mention all the <strong>\u0441\u043b\u043e\u0432<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">\u0430<\/span>-\u043f\u0430\u0440\u0430\u0437<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">\u0438<\/span>\u0442\u044b<\/strong> (filler words), <strong>\u0443\u043c\u0435\u043d\u044c\u0448<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">\u0438<\/span>\u0442\u0435\u043b\u044c\u043d\u044b\u0435<\/strong> (diminutives), and abundance of prefixes and suffixes that can completely transform the meaning of a word.
