If you have any ideas on how to do this, let me know. In the meantime, let\u2019s talk about these \u201cthree whales\u201d. By the way, they were first mentioned by Rob in his comment on the <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/russian\/how-to-curse-like-a-russian-kindergartner\/\">previous post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>While the expression <strong>\u0442\u0440\u0438 \u043a\u0438\u0442<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\u0430<\/span><\/strong> might seem puzzling, it is actually a very common one. It means \u201cthe three pillars\u201d:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u0422\u0440\u0438 \u043a\u0438\u0442<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\u0430<\/span> \u043c<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\u0443<\/span>\u0437\u044b\u043a\u0438 &#8211; <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\u044d<\/span>\u0442\u043e \u043f<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\u0435<\/span>\u0441\u043d\u044f, \u0442<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\u0430<\/span>\u043d\u0435\u0446 \u0438 \u043c\u0430\u0440\u0448<\/strong> (The three pillars of music are song, dance and march).<\/p>\n<p>But why <strong>\u043a\u0438\u0442<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\u044b<\/span><\/strong> (whales) and not, say, <strong>\u0441\u043b\u043e\u043d<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\u044b<\/span><\/strong> (elephants)?
