Take, for example, the verb \u201cto go\u201d which can be translated as either <strong>\u0438\u0434\u0442<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">\u0438<\/span><\/strong> or <strong>\u043f\u043e\u0439\u0442<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">\u0438<\/span><\/strong>. Here perfective <strong>\u043f\u043e\u0439\u0442<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">\u0438<\/span><\/strong> was used since the non-repeating action was completed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em\">Another good expression that uses <strong>\u0438\u0434\u0442<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">\u0438<\/span>\/\u043f\u043e\u0439\u0442<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">\u0438<\/span><\/strong> is <strong>\u0438\u0434\u0442<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">\u0438<\/span> \u043d\u0430 \u043f\u043e\u043f<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">\u044f<\/span>\u0442\u043d\u0443\u044e<\/strong> (to back-pedal):<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em\"><strong>\u201c\u0413\u0430\u0437\u043f\u0440<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">\u043e<\/span>\u043c\u201d \u043f\u043e\u0448\u0451\u043b \u043d\u0430 \u043f\u043e\u043f<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">\u044f<\/span>\u0442\u043d\u0443\u044e<\/strong> (Gasprom backed off) one news outlet <\/span><a style=\"line-height: 1.5em\" href=\"http:\/\/www.segodnya.ua\/economics\/enews\/mezhdu-kievom-i-moskvoy-nalazhivaetsya-pozitivnyy-dialog-po-gazu-ekspert-475949.html\">reported<\/a><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em\"> back in November. \u00a0However, in December, another site <\/span><a style=\"line-height: 1.5em\" href=\"http:\/\/delo.ua\/business\/evropa-poshla-na-popjatnuju-pered-natiskom-gazproma-222249\/\">reported<\/a><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em\"> that <strong>\u0415\u0432\u0440<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">\u043e<\/span>\u043f\u0430 \u043f\u043e\u0448\u043b<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">\u0430<\/span> \u043d\u0430 \u043f\u043e\u043f<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">\u044f<\/span>\u0442\u043d\u0443\u044e \u043f<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">\u0435<\/span>\u0440\u0435\u0434 \u043d<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">\u0430<\/span>\u0442\u0438\u0441\u043a\u043e\u043c \u0413\u0430\u0437\u043f\u0440<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">\u043e<\/span>\u043c\u0430<\/strong> (Europe back-pedaled in reaction to the push from Gasprom)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em\">Bored with Gasprom? Uruguay has been in the <\/span><a style=\"line-height: 1.5em\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sb.by\/post\/156825\/\">news<\/a><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em\"> lately for their country-wide legalization of <strong>\u043c\u0430\u0440\u0438\u0445\u0443<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">\u0430<\/span>\u043d\u0430<\/strong>.
