{"id":69,"date":"2007-08-10T10:53:47","date_gmt":"2007-08-10T14:53:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/russian\/?p=69"},"modified":"2007-08-10T10:53:47","modified_gmt":"2007-08-10T14:53:47","slug":"english-russian-computing-dictionary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/russian\/english-russian-computing-dictionary\/","title":{"rendered":"English-Russian Computing Dictionary"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last week I suddenly needed to say, &#8220;antialiasing filter&#8221; in Russian and I found in this <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foreignword.com\/glossary\/russian\/\">computing dictionary<\/a> that it is, &#8220;\u0444\u0438\u043b\u044c\u0442\u0440 \u0437\u0430\u0449\u0438\u0442\u044b \u043e\u0442 \u043d\u0430\u043b\u043e\u0436\u0435\u043d\u0438\u044f \u0441\u043f\u0435\u043a\u0442\u0440\u043e\u0432 \u043f\u0440\u0438 \u043d\u0430\u043b\u043e\u0436\u0435\u043d\u0438\u0438 \u0430\u043d\u0430\u043b\u043e\u0433\u043e\u0432\u044b\u0445 \u0441\u0438\u0433\u043d\u0430\u043b\u043e\u0432.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>And then I needed, &#8220;ternary logic,&#8221; and it was also in there!  So is &#8220;T-flip flop&#8221; and &#8220;Markov Chain.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>OK, back to reality, I never needed these words whatsoever.  But there are terms in this dictionary that are useful to negotiating daily computing, like &#8220;error message.&#8221;  And otherwise you can check it out just to see what some Russian jargon looks like &#8212; the English is pretty funny too.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\nError message is  \u0441\u043e\u043e\u0431\u0449\u0435\u043d\u0438\u0435 \u043e\u0431 \u043e\u0448\u0438\u0431\u043a\u0435.
