This word is fairly broad and is not limited to diplomatic relations (<strong>\u0434\u0438\u043f\u043b\u043e\u043c\u0430\u0442\u0438\u0301\u0447\u0435\u0441\u043a\u0438\u0435 \u043e\u0442\u043d\u043e\u0448\u0435\u0301\u043d\u0438\u044f<\/strong>). Any sort of representative could be called <strong>\u043f\u0440\u0435\u0434\u0441\u0442\u0430\u0432\u0438\u0301\u0442\u0435\u043b\u044c<\/strong> (m.) or <strong>\u043f\u0440\u0435\u0434\u0441\u0442\u0430\u0432\u0438\u0301\u0442\u0435\u043b\u044c\u043d\u0438\u0446\u0430<\/strong> (f.) The ambassador is <strong>\u043f\u043e\u0441\u043e\u0301\u043b<\/strong>. These words are related to the verb <strong>\u0441\u043b\u0430\u0442\u044c<\/strong>, to send.
