Pick-up lines in Spanish Posted by on Sep 19, 2011 in Spanish Culture

Hey, there!

This post goes for the ones who haven’t found their soul mate or only want to have some fun. Check out this dialog:

Gustavo: ¡Mira qué mina viene ahí! (Check out that girl!)

José: Realmente está buenísima, ¿no? (She’s really hot, right?)

(This club is always full of gorgeous chicks.)

(Yeah, I know. That’s why I love this place.)

(Well, I just hope this is our lucky night and I can hook up with someone.)

José: Y yo también. (Me too.)

Well, Gustavo and José are looking for some action and they might use some of the pick-up lines below:

¿Vienes seguido acá? – Do you come here often?
Te pareces mucho a alguien que conozco. – You look like someone I know.
¿No nos conocemos ya? – Haven’t we met before?
¡Qué bien bailas! – You dance very well!
¡Qué linda sonrisa tienes! – What a beautiful smile you have!
¡Eres muy bonita / linda! – You’re gorgeous!
¿Puedo sentarme aquí? – Can I sit here?
¿Puedo invitarte a una copa? – Can I buy you a drink?
¿Quieres tomar algo? – Would you like something to drink?

And there are some funny (corny?) ones like:

– Can I borrow a coin? I have to call my mom and tell her I’ve met the love of my life.
¿Tienes un novio? ¿No? ¿Quieres uno? – Do you have a boyfriend? No? Want one?
– You know, girls like you give guys like me a reason to live.
¿Eres modelo? – Are you a model?

Por hoy es todo, nos vemos prontito.

  1. Diego:

    • David Carmona:

      @Diego Ambas expresiones son correctas.

  2. Diego:
