Marc Anthony (Marco Antonio Mu\u00f1iz) was born in New York, in 1968. Born to Puerto Rican parents, Latin music was always present in Marc\u2019s life. Singer Paul Simon was the one who helped him kick off his career by casting him to be the leading man in the musical \u201cThe Capeman\u201d (1998). He started as a freestyle music artist but turned to tropical music after 1992. As a producer and singer, he has worked with big names in the music industry such as Thal\u00eda, Ricardo Arjoja, Tina Arena, Olga Ta\u00f1\u00f3n, Jos\u00e9 Feliciano, La India, Jessica Simpson, Fifty Cent, Snoop Dogg and many more.
\nMarc has also done acting and his songs have appeared in movies like Carlito’s Way (the song \u201cParece Mentira\u201d) and Runaway Bride (the song “You Sang To Me”). His acting career includes the movies “Bringing Out the Dead”, “In the Time of the Butterflies”, “Man on Fire” and, as the controversial Puerto Rican singer H\u00e9ctor Lavoe, “El Cantante”, where he shares the big screen with his wife, Jennifer Lopez.
