M\u00e1s de siete millones de personas viven en ella. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Fue fundada en 1541 por el conquistador espa\u00f1ol Don Pedro de Valdivia y es el centro pol\u00edtico, financiero y cultural de Chile.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Santiago tiene un verano c\u00e1lido y seco, y un invierno fr\u00edo con baja humedad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">La Plaza de Armas es la plaza principal de Santiago. All\u00ed puedes encontrar la hist\u00f3rica Catedral Metropolitana, la casa central de Correos de Chile, y el palacio de la Corte Suprema. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">Este edificio ahora est\u00e1 destinado al Museo de Historia Nacional. Ah\u00ed puedes subir hasta la cima de la torre del reloj para una mejor vista de la plaza.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">Una gran forma de ver Santiago y aprender sobre la ciudad es tomar un tour en bicicleta. \u201cLa Bicicleta Verde\u201d organiza dos tours al d\u00eda. Te recomendamos tomar ambos un d\u00eda. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">En el tour, vas a visitar parques, probar helados t\u00edpicos deliciosos, y aprender sobre la historia de Santiago.
